Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with Prime Minister of Bulgaria Boyko Borissov. The conversation was initiated by the Bulgarian side.
The constructive discussion focused on the bilateral relations, with special attention paid to energy cooperation.
In connection with today’s signing in Sofia of the final investment decision for the construction of the South Stream gas pipeline on Bulgaria’s territory, Vladimir Putin and Boyko Borissov expressed their satisfaction with the level of Russian-Bulgarian cooperation in the implementation of this major international project.
