Vladimir Putin sent a message of condolences to President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping in connection with the terrorist attack in Kunming, which resulted in numerous casualties.
The Russian President strongly condemned this heinous crime and expressed his commitment to continue comprehensive cooperation with China in the fight against terrorism.
Mr Putin conveyed his sympathy and support to the families and friends of the victims and wishes of a speedy recovery to the injured.
