Vladimir Putin sent a message of congratulations to President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping on the 68th anniversary of the country’s founding.
“Over the last decades, China has achieved truly remarkable results. Your country is well on the path to accelerated socioeconomic growth, and plays an important role in resolving relevant challenges on the regional and global agenda,” the President of Russia stressed in his message.
Vladimir Putin highly praised the development of Russian-Chinese relations, which have reached an unprecedentedly high level of comprehensive and trust-based partnership and strategic cooperation.
The Russian President expressed confidence that the implementation of the agreements reached following the latest meetings with the President of the China in Moscow and Xiamen will contribute to further development of bilateral political dialogue, fruitful cooperation in trade and the economy, research and development, humanitarian and other spheres, as well as coordination of efforts between the Russian Federation and the People’s Republic of China in international affairs and in the interests of friendly relations between the two states.
