Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela Nicolas Maduro at the initiative of the Venezuelan side.
The conversation covered the development of the strategic partnership between Russia and Venezuela, including the implementation of joint projects in trade, the economy, energy and other areas.
The two leaders also exchanged views on the situation on the world oil market in the context of the OPEC agreement to cut production and the meeting of OPEC member-nations’ and other oil-producing states’ energy ministers that is to take place in Vienna on December 10.
