Vladimir Putin had a working meeting with Governor of Arkhangelsk Region Igor Orlov. Mr Orlov briefed the President on the region’s socioeconomic situation.
Mr Putin also accepted Mr Orlov’s request to step down from his post ahead of term and appointed him to be Acting Governor of the region until an elected governor takes office.
