Vladimir Putin had a working meeting with Governor of Leningrad Region Alexander Drozdenko. The Governor briefed the President on the socioeconomic situation in the region.
During the meeting, Vladimir Putin announced that he had signed the Executive Order on early termination of the Governor of Leningrad Region’s mandate following the Governor’s request, and asked Mr Drozdenko to carry out his duties until the special election.
