Vladimir Putin listened to reports by Emergencies Minister Vladimir Puchkov and heads of the regions affected by wildfires, and gave instructions on providing necessary relief to the victims.
The President listened to the report of Emergencies Minister Vladimir Puchkov on the work of rescue teams. Vladimir Putin emphasised the main goal – to render necessary aid to the people adversely affected by the fires. Material assistance to those who lost their homes will come from the Government’s Reserve Fund.
Governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory Viktor Tolokonsky and Governor of the Stavropol Territory Vladimir Vladimirov reported on the wildfire relief efforts, additional measures adopted to counter the higher fire risks and work to deal with the aftermath of floods.
