The Head of Ivanovo Region briefed the President on the region’s socioeconomic situation.
In particular, the discussion focused on preschools, the labour market and demographic situation, and security issues in the region.
Regarding the economy, the Governor stated that there has been a decline in manufacturing, particularly in machine engineering. As for agriculture, the region fully meets its own demand for bread, poultry, eggs and potatoes. Ivanovo Region holds 36th place in the Russian Federation’s investment ranking.
