Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orban at the initiative of the Hungarian side.
Vladimir Putin and Viktor Orban discussed current bilateral issues, in particular the implementation of agreements reached during the visit to Budapest by the President of Russia on February 2, 2017. The presidents expressed satisfaction with the European Commission’s decision to lift obstacles that prevented Rosatom from contributing to the construction of two reactors for the Paks nuclear power plant in Hungary.
The two leaders also discussed current international issues of mutual interest.
