Vladimir Putin sent a message of greetings to President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev in connection with the Republic’s national holiday, Independence Day.
The Russian President highly assessed Kazakhstan’s achievements in the economic, social, cultural and technological areas, stressing the country’s established authority on the international arena and its important constructive role in resolving major international issues.
Vladimir Putin noted the friendly nature of the good-neighbourly partnership between Russia and Kazakhstan, as well as the new prospects for bilateral cooperation in various areas that are opening up with the launch of the Eurasian Economic Union.
The Russian President expressed confidence in the further growth of both bilateral and multilateral mutually beneficial ties in the interests of the peoples of Russia and Kazakhstan in line with the acceleration of Eurasian integration and ensuring regional stability and security.
