In Milan, the President of Russia together with Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi will take part in the opening of Russia Day at the EXPO-2015 Universal Exposition. Vladimir Putin will also have talks with Mr Renzi to discuss a broad range of issues of Russian-Italian cooperation, primarily in trade, the economy and energy, as well as a number of pressing international matters.
In Rome, the Russian President will have talks with President of the Italian Republic Sergio Mattarella.
In line with a previous agreement, Vladimir Putin will visit the Vatican and meet with Pope Francis.
