Vladimir Putin met with President of Italy Sergio Mattarella.
The two presidents noted that it is necessary to maintain the pace in developing bilateral relations in all areas, not allowing them to become hostage to various current challenges.
The President of Russia provided a detailed excursion into genesis, course and possible prospects for the conflict in Ukraine. Mr Putin and Mr Mattarella agreed that unfortunately, all parties without exception and all countries in Europe pay too high a price for ongoing intra-Ukrainian conflict.
