Mr Putin noted Italy’s special place among Russia’s partners in Europe and the unique experience the two countries have built up in fruitful cooperation and constructive joint work to resolve current regional and global issues.

The Russian President expressed confidence that Russia and Italy would continue to develop the potential of their mutually advantageous partnership in the interests of their peoples and in line with enhancing stability and security in Europe and throughout the world.
