Vladimir Putin sent greetings to President of the Italian Republic Sergio Mattarella on the occasion of his assuming office for another term.
The message reads, in part:
“Russian-Italian relations have a very rich history and are grounded in good traditions of friendship and mutual respect.
I am confident that the further development of constructive bilateral dialogue and fruitful cooperation in various areas would fully meet the interests of the peoples of our countries and the whole of Europe.”
