The head of Rosselkhozbank briefed Vladimir Putin on the bank’s current activities, particularly its support for the agroindustrial sector.
According to Mr Patrushev, Rosselkhozbank issues about 50 percent of all the loans to the agricultural industry. The bank’s total number of clients currently exceeds 5 million. It has over 2 trillion rubles [about $44 billion] worth of assets and a credit portfolio of over 1 trillion 400 billion rubles.
In 2013–2014, the bank ensured the funding of sowing and harvesting, accounting for some 75 percent of all the loans of this type.
