At Russia’s initiative, Vladimir Putin had telephone conversations with President of Greece Prokopis Pavlopoulos and Prime Minister of Greece Alexis Tsipras.
Mr Putin thanked the Greek leaders for organising and hosting his visit to Greece on May 27–28 and for their warm hospitality, expressed his satisfaction with the results of the talks in Athens and said he hopes for continued efforts to strengthen Russian-Greek ties in the interests of both countries and peoples.
Both sides expressed a mutual commitment to implementing the agreements reached.
