Vladimir Putin sent a message of greetings on the 32nd anniversary of independence of Turkmenistan to Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the national leader of the Turkmen people and Chairman of the People’s Council of Turkmenistan.
The message reads, in part:
“Your country is confidently moving forward on the path of economic and social development and enjoys well-deserved respect on the international stage.
It is largely thanks to your personal efforts that relations between our countries have reached the level of deep strategic partnership. I am confident that the further strengthening of the entire range of relations between Russia and Turkmenistan fully meets the interests of our nations and will contribute to stronger regional stability and security.”
