Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
The presidents discussed pressing issues of bilateral relations, including measures to expand mutually beneficial cooperation in trade and the economy. They reaffirmed mutual interest in the further comprehensive strengthening of the Russian-Uzbekistani strategic partnership and alliance.
It was agreed to maintain contacts at various levels.
