Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
The two leaders discussed the preparations for the Russian President’s upcoming state visit to the Republic of Uzbekistan. In this context, they addressed a number of practical issues related to advancing bilateral cooperation, including in trade and the economy.
Vladimir Putin also shared his impressions of the recent talks with the Chinese leadership in Beijing.
Both sides confirmed their commitment to consistently strengthening the alliance and strategic partnership between Russia and Uzbekistan.
