Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev
The discussion focused on pressing issues pertaining to further development of the comprehensive strategic partnership and allied relationship between Russia and Uzbekistan. Particular attention was paid to the implementation of mutually beneficial joint projects in energy, investment, and industry, as well as the expansion of interregional and cultural ties.
The leaders agreed to maintain regular personal contacts in the future.
