Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with President of the Council of Ministers of the Italian Republic Paolo Gentiloni.
The President of Russia once again congratulated Paolo Gentiloni on his appointment as head of the Italian government and wished him success in his work. The two leaders acknowledged their shared commitment to further developing mutually beneficial Russian-Italian cooperation. They also discussed several current issues on the international agenda.
Earlier, Vladimir Putin sent a congratulatory message to Paolo Gentiloni.
