President of France Emmanuel Macron will pay an official visit to St Petersburg on May 24–25 at Vladimir Putin’s invitation. He will attend the St Petersburg International Economic Forum as a guest of honour.
The officials plan to hold talks at the highest level, during which they will discuss the development of Russian-French bilateral cooperation as well as current international and regional matters, including the situation concerning the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action on Iran’s nuclear programme, the Syrian settlement process and the intra-Ukrainian crisis.
A number of joint documents have been prepared for signing.
