Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with President of Mongolia Khaltmaagiin Battulga, at the latter’s initiative.
In view of the 100th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries, the two leaders discussed topical issues of Russia-Mongolia cooperation. They stressed that in the past years, the traditionally friendly bilateral ties have been developing very successfully and reached the level of a comprehensive strategic partnership.
The two presidents particularly focused on strengthening coordinated efforts to counter the spread of the coronavirus infection, including supplying Russian vaccines to Mongolia.
