The President’s message said, in particular:

”I was deeply saddened to learn of the tragic helicopter accident in Kamchatka Territory in which German citizens were killed and injured. I have given the instruction to provide all possible help to everyone affected by this disaster. The search for the missing will continue.

I express my sincere condolences and ask you to pass on my words of sympathy and support to the victims’ families.“
