Vladimir Putin sent greetings to Chairman of State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea Kim Jong-un on the occasion of the 76th anniversary of the establishment of the DPRK.
The message reads, in part:
“Relations between our countries, based on the traditions of friendship and good-neighbourliness are at a high level, as our recent constructive and informative talks in Pyongyang have fully confirmed.
I am confident that through joint efforts we will continue to further strengthen the comprehensive strategic partnership between Russia and the DPRK. This is undoubtedly in the fundamental interests of our peoples, and in line with providing for security and stability on the Korean Peninsula and in the North-Eastern Asia in general.”
