Vladimir Putin watched an interactive presentation on the results of developing Russia’s Far East.
Deputy Prime Minister – Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Far Eastern Federal District Yury Trutnev and Minister for the Development of the Russian Far East and Arctic Alexei Chekunkov reported to the President on the socioeconomic development of the Far Eastern Federal District and the projects being implemented.
Several enterprises – priority development area residents – were launched via videoconference during the meeting, including enterprises of the Baikal-Amur Mining Corporation in the Amur Region that manufactures titanium-magnetite and ilmenite concentrates, the second stage of the Pavlik gold processing plant in the Magadan Region, and the Udokan Mining and Smelting Works in the Trans-Baikal Territory.
