Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with President of the Argentine Republic Alberto Fernandez.
Vladimir Putin congratulated Alberto Fernandez on his recent birthday and wished him complete recovery as soon as possible.
The President of Argentina thanked Vladimir Putin for his support and noted his confidence in the Russian Sputnik V vaccine that allowed him to have only a mild form of the virus. He praised Russia’s assistance in countering the spread of the coronavirus and expressed interest in further close cooperation, including continued Sputnik V supplies to Argentina.
Both leaders emphasised their desire to develop bilateral ties in various areas.
