Vladimir Putin receives regular updates from Emergencies Minister Alexander Kurenkov on the wildfire situation in the Sverdlovsk Region, the response and relief efforts and measures to preclude the further spread of fire.
The President spoke by telephone with Sverdlovsk Region Governor Yevgeny Kuyvashev.
Instructions were given to provide social assistance and everything necessary to people who have lost their homes.
