Dmitry Medvedev approved a list of instructions following a September 21 meeting on the financial stability of agribusiness.
The Government of the Russian Federation was instructed to complete by November 15, 2010 an analysis of the harvesting results and the demand/supply ratio at the domestic markets of grains and grain products, in order to submit an advice on feasibility of maintaining an embargo on wheat, meslin, barley, rye, corn, wheat flour, and rye flour exports.
Other instructions concern loan facilities for investment projects in the agro-industries, agricultural risks insurance, state support to agricultural producers and processing companies involved in various forms of cooperation, and financing of the Development of Meat Cattle Breeding in Russia in 2009–2012 target programme.
