Several days ago Dmitry Medvedev signed an Executive Order appointing Alexander Sukhorukov First Deputy Defence Minister. Per the President’s directive, Mr Sukhorukov will be in charge of monitoring the state defence order at the Defence Ministry.
Previously Alexander Sukhorukov headed the Federal Service for Defence Order.
