Emergencies Minister briefed Dmitry Medvedev on relief measures following earthquake in East Siberia.
According to the Emergencies Ministry, the force of the earthquake was 9.5 magnitude on the Richter scale. The epicentre was located 100 kilometres east of Kyzyl, the capital of the Tuva Republic. Tremors were felt in Tuva, Khakassia, the Krasnoyarsk Territory, and the Irkutsk, Kemerovo, Novosibirsk and Tomsk regions.
