On March 14, the President of Russia will hold talks with President of the State of Palestine Mahmoud Abbas who will be on an official visit to Moscow.
It is expected that the two leaders will discuss key issues of bilateral cooperation.
Previous exchanges on international and regional issues have traditionally focused on the current situation in the Middle East and North Africa, and prospects for the resumption of Palestinian-Israeli peace talks.
Mr Abbas and Mr Putin last met on June 26, 2012 during Vladimir Putin’s working visit to Bethlehem for the opening of the Russian Centre for Science and Culture.
