Mr Berdnikov briefed the President on the current social and economic situation in the Republic.
The discussion focussed on relief efforts following the floods of 2014. According to Mr Berdnikov, the people have received compensation for their lost property, and roads and bridges have been restored. People are being relocated from housing unfit for living and there are no more waiting lists for pre-school facilities. Agriculture is doing well. The discussion also touched upon the development of tourism, including alpine skiing.
