Vladimir Putin remarked that the chemical, petrochemical, and pipeline sectors in Bashkortostan are developing nicely.
The head of Bashkortostan briefed the President on the outcomes of the Big Chemistry forum, which addressed issues of gas supplies to help develop economies in the Urals and the Volga river basin, as well as the project to build a pipeline to transport broad fractions of light hydrocarbons from the Yamal deposits to the Volga river basin.
Mr Khamitov also told the President about the construction of pre-schools and hospitals in the republic, as well as healthcare modernisation.
