Vladimir Putin sent greetings to Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov, finalists and guests of the final rounds of the ninth National Championship for Young Professionals, WorldSkills Russia 2021, currently underway in Ufa.
The message reads, in part:
“Welcome to the finals of the ninth National Championship for Young Professionals, WorldSkills Russia 2021, which has brought together in Ufa college and university students from various Russian regions. Many other competitors and experts from Asian-Pacific and CIS countries will also take part in the championship remotely. Such admirable finalists and an impressive number of trade skills show that vocational specialties are gaining prestige in the world, and that the ideals and values of the WorldSkills international movement are growing stronger and getting more popular.
I am confident that during an intense competition beginner specialists can fully demonstrate their skills and outstanding creative potential and prove that they can tackle difficult professional tasks with skill and speed. And, of course, such forums provide a great opportunity for self-improvement, exchange of experience and knowledge, and friendly conversation.
