The President will visit Prokhorovsky district where he will take part in the celebration of the 70th anniversary of the Battle of Prokhorovka, and also chair a meeting of the Pobeda (Victory) Organising Committee.
Together with Great Patriotic War veterans, Vladimir Putin will lay flowers at the Victory Monument – the Belfry on the Prokhorovka Field, and meet with participants in the battle in an informal setting.
The President will hold a meeting of the Russian Pobeda (Victory) Organising Committee at the Prokhorovskoye Pole (The Prokhorovka Field) culture-historical centre. The meeting will be attended by deputy prime ministers, heads of federal ministries and agencies, regional governors, and invited heads of the Russian veteran organisations. Reports will be made at the meeting on preparations for the celebration of the 70th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
