Socioeconomic situation in the republic, the results for 2013 and plans for 2014 were among the subjects discussed.
According to Mr Kadyrov, the socio-political situation in Chechnya is stable with positive dynamics across the key economic indicators. Plans are in place to attract investments worth 128 billion rubles [$3.6 billion] in Chechnya over the 2013–2016 period. Small and medium-sized businesses are developing, and unemployment is decreasing.
Relocation of families living in landslide-prone areas was also discussed.
