Vladimir Putin signed Federal Law On Amendments to Articles 1 and 8 of the Federal Law On the Development of the Republic of Crimea and the City of Federal Importance Sevastopol and the Free Economic Zone on the Territories of the Republic of Crimea and the City of Federal Importance Sevastopol.
The Federal Law is aimed at creating conditions for improving the investment climate in the Republic of Crimea and the City of Federal Importance Sevastopol.
Specifically, the Federal Law incorporates the internal waters and the territorial sea of the Russian Federation adjacent to the Republic of Crimea and the City of Federal Importance Sevastopol into the free economic zone.
