Vladimir Putin signed a list of instructions following a meeting on the Republic of Ingushetia’s socioeconomic development, held on September 14, 2015.
The Government of the Russian Federation is instructed jointly with the Republic of Ingushetia’s government authorities to ensure the completion of implementing measures to build and put into operation the republic’s children’s hospital, the Sports Palace, a perinatal centre and oncology centre, providing for the redistribution of funds within the framework of the Republic of Ingushetia’s Socioeconomic Development for 2010–2016 federal target programme.
The instructions also call for the development and adoption of the Republic of Ingushetia’s Socioeconomic Development for 2017–2025 sub-programme within the framework of the Development of the North Caucasus Federal District State Programme of the Russian Federation for the period through 2025, stipulating the implementation of the development programmes in industry, agriculture and energy that will allow for the creation of new jobs, as well as measures to increase tax revenues in the Republic of Ingushetia’s budget.
In addition, instructions concern the construction of a State Philharmonic Hall, a regional ethnographic museum, a National Library, State Arts College, a Russian Drama Theatre building, houses of culture, and sports and recreation centres in rural areas.
The instructions also concern developing the road network, implementing a gas turbine generator construction project, resolving the problem of liquidating uninhabitable housing, and resettling residents of the landslide zone.
