Vladimir Putin congratulated Cheremkhovo residents on the 100th anniversary of the town.
The message reads, in part:
“I would like to congratulate you on a very special occasion, the 100th anniversary of Cheremkhovo.
Your town played a significant role in the history of the development of Siberia and contributed to the strengthening of our domestic coal industry.
It is important that today people in Cheremkhovo cherish their rich traditions, take pride in the names of the town’s prominent people and help develop their region and all of Russia.
Once again, congratulations! And, of course, happy Miner’s Day!”
