The President submitted to the Parliament of the Karachayevo-Circassian Republic a list of candidates who will run for the post of Head of the Republic:

Ismel Bijiev, chairperson of the Committee on Science, Education, Culture, Sport and Youth Affairs in the Parliament of the Karachayevo-Circassian Republic;

Viktor Borodkin, deputy chairperson of the Committee on Ethnic Policy, Foreign Relations, Local Government and Non-Profit Organisations in the Parliament of the Karachayevo-Circassian Republic;

Rashid Temrezov, acting head of the Karachayevo-Circassian Republic.
