Vladimir Putin instructed the Emergency Situations Ministry, Regional Development Ministry and Krasnodar Territory authorities to provide all necessary assistance to flood victims in Novomikhailovsky village (Tuapse District) in order to rebuild housing and ensure normal life.
Heavy rains on the night of August 22 caused a local river to burst its banks, flooding 600 homes in the village of Novomikhailovsky; approximately 1,500 people had been evacuated.
