Vladimir Putin attended the 6th PLOTFORMA S-70 international professional combat sambo tournament.
This year's tournament featured ten fights during which the Russian athletes met with their competitors from Brazil, Great Britain, Kazakhstan, Canada, the United States and Uzbekistan.
Russia's national team won the team fighting. The Russian President took part in the awards ceremony honouring the winners and wished all the participants success.
Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Medvedev joined President Vladimir Putin for the event.
