Mr Tuleyev briefed Vladimir Putin on the socioeconomic situation in the region, including the coal sector’s development and implementation of a programme to resettle people out of dilapidated housing.
Mr Tuleyev also spoke about the work of joint ventures with Belarus to assemble 320-ton BelAZ vehicles, construction of three petrochemical plants, and the launch of a rail and structural plant using up-to-date technology.
