The President signed Federal Law On Amending Federal Law on the Special Economic Zone in Kaliningrad Region and Amending Certain Legislative Acts of the Russian Federation.
The Federal Law is aimed at simplifying customs administration within the Kaliningrad Region Special Economic Zone.
In particular, the simplifications concern temporary storage of foreign goods imported into Kaliningrad Region’s Special Economic Zone by its residents. In addition, special procedures are established for improving customs operations with regard to Customs Union goods.
