Vladimir Putin sent greetings to the participants, organisers and guests of the 10th Mikael Tariverdiev International Organ Competition.
The message reads, in part:
“This reputable artistic competition is justly considered an exciting and notable event in the world of music and one of the most successful projects in the area of international cultural cooperation. It never ceases to attract public interest and boasts a full and deep programme, established traditions and renowned participants.
I am certain that the anniversary festival held at Kaliningrad’s majestic Cathedral will again draw talented musicians from many different countries, and will give city residents and its guests an unforgettable experience and the joy of seeing high art, to which renowned Russian composer Mikael Tariverdiev made a unique contribution.”
