Vladimir Putin signed Executive Order On Terminating the Mandate of the Kurgan Region Governor Ahead of Term, releasing Oleg Bogomolov from his duties in the post and appointing Alexei Kokorin acting governor.
The President accepted Oleg Bogomolov’s request to step down from the post of Kurgan Region Governor ahead of term.
Alexei Kokorin has been appointed the region’s acting governor until elections are held and a new governor takes office.
