During a working trip to the Khabarovsk Territory, the President visited the Mechtalёt animation studio.
The President was accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister – Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Far Eastern Federal District Yury Trutnev, Presidential Aide Maxim Oreshkin, Minister for the Development of the Russian Far East and Arctic Alexei Chekunkov and Governor of the Khabarovsk Territory Mikhail Degtyarev. Mechtalёt director Ilya Kuznetsov and co-founder Vitaly Ten showed the visitors around.
The company was established in 2018 for the production of animation films and their promotion on the Russian and international markets. Vladimir Putin watched a video about the studio’s performance and attended a presentation on the activities of its design centre.
The President also watched the studio’s presentation of a full-length animation film Nevelskoy and Smart Backpack (Back to Back).
