The President will visit the Sayano-Shushenskaya Hydropower Station, where he will hold a meeting on developing the electricity sector in Siberia and the Far East. Discussion will focus particularly on electricity supply for flooded regions and the safety of hydropower installations.
Taking part in the meeting will be Energy Minister Alexander Novak, Chairman of the Board of RusHydro Yevgeny Dod, and the heads of technical safety supervisory agency Rostekhnadzor, the Federal Tariffs Service, and the companies within the Russian Grid umbrella.
Mr Putin will also hold video linkups with two big energy infrastructure sites – Boguchansky Energy and Metals Complex and Ust Srednekansk Hydropower Station.
