Vladimir Putin made a working trip to the Republic of Khakassia, where he inspected new housing in the village of Krasnopolye for people who lost their homes in wildfires in April. The President looked over one of the houses and spoke with local people.
This is Mr Putin’s third working trip to the region, which was hit by wildfires. On his earlier visits, the President held a number of meetings on the clean-up effort following the fires, spoke with the local people, and promised to return to the region when the housing construction is completed.
Mr Putin arrived in Khakassia from Vladivostok, where he took part in the Eastern Economic Forum.
